A. Housing
Scheme under Economically Weaker
Section
ADDA has
adopted a major EWS-housing scheme under VAMBAY for
development of the slums within ADDA jurisdiction. In this
scheme there are 1670 nos. dwelling houses has been built in 6
places.

Financial involvement is Rs. 668.00 lakhs of which Rs.
334.00 lakhs is Govt. of India subsidy and rest Rs. 334.00
lakhs from the beneficiaries. The authority has already spent
more than Rs. 100 lakhs for infrastructure services like road,
electricity, drain, water supply etc. within these
areas.
B.
Infrastructure Development of Schools &
Colleges
Besides the above, ADDA
contributed more than Rs. 290.00 lakh as a grant for
development of infrastructure for more than 41 nos. schools
and colleges, within Asansol and Durgapur region.
C.
Special
Initiative Of ADDA Under
JN-NRUM
BSUP
Presently ADDA has
taken up a massive housing project for basic services of urban
poor under JN-NURM. In this, scheme about
12125 no. houses will be constructed in (six) 6 different
places within Asansol and Durgapur
region.

Solid Waste
Management
In the
JN-NURM scheme the authority has also taken
up another national project for solid waste
management of the five municipalities like
Durgapur, Raniganj, Jamuria,
Asansol and Kulti.
The
total project cost involved Rs. 43.57
crores.
Water Supply Project
1. Durgapur 7 MGD
Water Supply Project under Durgapur Municipal
Corporation.
Total
Project Cost = 28.78 crores.
2. Asansol 10 MGD Water Supply Project Under
Asansol Municipal
Corporation.
Total
Project Cost = 89.88 crores.
