Planning initiatives of ADDA

Local Area Development Plan : ADDA has prepared a details Master Plan through IIT Kharagpur for Panagarh and Kulti Area called Panagarh Master Plan and Kulti Master Plan.

i)                   Preparation of City Development Plan: Asansol Urban Agglomeration has been selected as “Mission City” under Jwaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM). The “City Development Plan” of entire area consisting of all five Municipal bodies have been prepared along with the vision documents and the same have been duly approved by Government of India.

ii)                  Preparation of Perspective Plan: – 2025: Indian Institute of Technology (Kharagpur) has been engaged by ADDA for the preparation of Perspective Plan – 2025 for Asansol Durgapur Planning area. The draft plan has been prepared and finalized. The final document is under preparation.

iii)                Local Area Development Plan: ADDA has prepared a detail Master Plan through IIT Kharagpur for Panagarh and Kulti Area called Panagarh Master Plan and Kulti Master Plan.

iv)               Land Acquisition Planning: In order to meet the ever increasing demand for residential and industrial land, ADDA is presently involved in extensive planning for Land acquisition at Durgapur, Raniganj and Asansol.
